Memi Designs create quality handmade textile homewares and gifts. Our core philosophy is a belief in the beauty of simplicity. Inspiration is drawn from the natural world, both graphically and in our choice of materials. Australian native flora is of particular interest, with the current season signature prints being She Oaks and Eucalypts, both Australian native plants.

All Memi products are made from natural materials, mainly linen and cotton. The fabrics are printed by hand, using traditional silkscreen methods. We print and manufacture all products locally to ensure quality standards are maintained, and also through a commitment to ethical production.

Memi Designs is the initiative of Melanie Hayes, a Melbourne-based designer with a background in fine arts and design. The current Memi collection was inspired by looking up at the tree tops while walking through the Melbourne streets. Looking at the different plants against the sky, the elegant beauty of the different silhouettes emerged.
